Tod Daniels I thought this was the case! That's why I was so confused. But as we know, it's always changing :) Yes, I know what to do now...I just didn't understand how I am suppose to get a year extension without my husband doing it too, since I am piggy backing on his. But, I'll go and ask for the required paperwork now that I know what needs to be done. Thank you!
I understand what you're saying. In my old passport, it was stamped: permitted up until Dec 30. It must have been a mistake on their part originally, because when I went to transfer my visa to my new passport, they told me that my visa is only permitted until Nov 2 (my old passport expiration).
That being said... do I start the whole process over or can I extend my visa until the date my husband's visa expires (Dec 30)?... Thanks Robert!
It was when I transferred my visa to my new passport that they gave me a new stamp stating that my visa expires on Nov 2 (with my old passport). It's confusing. It was at Chiang Mai immigration
