oh I see, was told it started once approved, so it actually starts then once stamped in Bangkok? That makes planning a lot easier. What do i need to bring to immigration at the airport just the approval emails or something else?
that’s very helpful so onward travel is fine to do. How would you deal with the accommodation? Maybe just book a cheap thing as ‘filler’ until approval?
how would you plan this with hotels and flights? Obviously ideally I’d need the visa first ideally so I know the exact start and end time then I can book everything
no I don’t have any reason I’m just trying to think of every eventuality, my thoughts are just timing it, if I book my flights and hotel for say 60 days and my visa comes 5 days before I travel then I would only be able to stay 55 days if it starts on day of issue ?
i thought it was 60 days then you can get an extension of 30 days once there? From the day it’s issued is worrying because I don’t want to leave it too close to my travel date, would you book flights and accommodation after issued? I ask because it’ll be a nightmare booking stuff first then not knowing when it’ll be approved. Once approved what do I need to show at immigration?
yes Uk is eligible it was more wheh to apply, can I use onward travel to give me the ‘flights’ and use them? I’d feel more comfortable booking my actual flights once approved
