Sure it says take the paper Evisa to get the DTV stamp in your passport when you’re first approved.

Nowhere does it say that you need to take that paper every time you come back in.

That was my point.

I wasn’t complaining. I was just saying it was unexpected.

It does… I just assumed that since I must have provided that to get the DTV stamp in the first place…they might have a record of it? Or trust that the first immigration officer saw it?

Ah well, no harm done.

Don’t think that would matter.

Which embassy are you going through? That seems to make a bit of a difference unfortunately.

As long as you have the funds and your company permission you should be ok.

I got my DTV a couple of months ago.

Got my DTV stamp in my passport.

Left for 3 weeks, came back on Tuesday.

They demanded to see my Evisa print out.. even though the DTV stamp was already in my passport.

Wasn’t expecting that.

Luckily I did have it… at the very bottom of my backpack… which held up the queue for a while 🤷‍♀️

Fact is, no one knows.

So your choices are:

Do it now

Don’t do it now and hope they don’t change the rules later.

It’s that simple… I think.

Hi

I went via London Embassy. For company proof I sent them my business certificate (my company is UAE based) so I’d throw in your certificate of incorporation and anything else you have that relates to your ownership.

Basically send as much paperwork as you have.

Makes it a lot easier and quicker!

No translation was asked for. Not from the London embassy at least.

And when they ask you for proof of flight…. Onwardticket

(Used that for both mine and my husbands DTV)
