in Europe it can take up to 4 weeks depending on the country. I don’t want to spend fall in Europe. 😊 Taipei is not on e-visa, so easier and we have to leave Thailand for a short while anyway.

yes, but we will be enjoying our 5 years in Thailand and feel free to travel in and out whenever we want. I know kids can not overstay, but I feel it is better to be 100% ok with the rules and not take advantage of the hospitality of this visa. After all it is only a small investment for getting 5 years of freedom here.

yes, but I do not want to. It’s an e-visa system, takes too long and I want to travel to my home county another time, not right now. So anywhere in Asia is fine for me, I think Taipei is rather quick and easy.

thanks for your reply! That sounds promising. Quick question: do you have to make an appointment at the embassy? Or is it walk in?
