Barry is offshift and probably alseep at the moment. Im keeping updated on things here in Thailand for him. I also work offshore, if the Doc had the kit and he got tested and provided evidence that he is clear is there a time limit on how many days he would then have to enter Thailand?
yes i made an appointment, the final taxi was 300 baht but we went past the bridge and to the hotel where my car was parked.

mins past the bridge. You go in the lane where the cars go not the normal queue where people take the bus over. 5 minutes i was across. So glad i took the taxi.
i had a similar situation a couple of years back. I broke my arm and was on a medical visa. I got away with 4 extensions. Back then i used an agent and never had to appear in person at immigration. I was still having physio and check ups at the hospital. the last one i got they wanted to see me at immigration, told me i could fly home no problem and they gave me a weeks extension to organize leaving. I then went to laos and started doing single entry tourist visas.
