I done this and the London embassy asked me to resubmit the file without blacking out the details. It may be different depending on the embassy you're applying through.

Hey Graeme. Oh really? I also have a Thai sim and didn't know this was possible. How do you receive texts - from UK banks/companies - sent to your UK number if the UK sim is turned off?
