Hello

Could someone please tell me

1. How many times can I fly into Thailand and get my 60 days as a UK Passport Holder?

2

How many times can I enter by land or air on a 60 day Tourist Visa?

Thanks a lot!

Hello everybody, hope you are doing good.

I have a couple of doubts that I hope you skilled people can help me resolve.

I’m planning on entering Thailand with an exemption visa in circa a week from Vietnam through Bangkok airport. I was thinking, once there, maybe after a month or something, asking for a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa.

First question is if you think it is possible to ask for this type of visa while already in the country with an exemption visa.

Second question is I’ve read that the visa is six months long for up to 60 days stays, i was wondering if it means that I can entry the country for 6 months or I can stay in the country 6 months. What I mean is what if I stay 60 days in the country and 30 in another country and then get back for other 60 days etc, would it work for more then a year? Just trying to understand how it works.

I hope my question was clear as English is not my first language 🙂

Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone, I have a question about the multiple-entry tourist visa. I know it allows for a 60-day stay each time I arrive, but what happens if I enter the country a week before my visa expires? Will I get stamped for 60 days or just 7 days?

Hello,

Me and my boyfriend are flying to Thailand on March 26. I want to apply for a visa for six months, but for that I need proof of a return flight, but we don't have that yet because we don't know when we will return to the Netherlands. Can I also book a ticket to Malaysia as proof or is that not enough?

Hello all. I’ve read that the Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa is valid for 6 months (from issue date) but is limited to 60 days from the date of arrival. Will I be able to extend it at immigration as with a regular TR visa or I’d need to leave Thailand and return?

Thanks

Looks like the application fee for a multiple-entry tourist visa for Thailand is now USD200? -- as of 16th October? Am I correctly understanding this notice from the Thai consulate in Ho Chi Minh? [[members only])

ASEAN nationals don't have to pay for single entry -- do they have to pay for multiple-entry?

I have a multiple-entry tourist visa. Entered March 8th with 60 days then went on amnesty. Is it possible to request a 30 day extension? My sticker has a valid until August 24th date if that makes an impact. Thanks.

Hi Guys! Had something to share:

Just returned to Thailand via CNX from Malaysia. I have a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa which expires on 19th May and this is my Last Entry into Thailand on this Visa and I also don't have plans to come to Thailand for around 6 months or so. I got my Visa stamped until 11th July (60 Days), so no worries here. What surprised me was that they made me fill up a form which was called something like Passenger Interview Form (don't remember exactly) which had Super Basic Fields to be filled up like: Name, Purpose of Stay etc. which we already do on the TM6. The Immigration Officer was very polite and just asked me for the Onward Ticket which i produced (I am leaving in 38 Days). So I am not entirely sure if it is just me who is freaking out or someone else also had to fill up this Form in the past? And will this affect my Future Trips to Thailand?

Thanks for any advice on this!

Hello, I have questions about reporting to Thai immigration for update of TM-30 upon re-entry.

Thanks in advance for reading & for any advice.

I'm on a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa and plan to do a border run this weekend, Chiang Khong/Houayxay. Last time I left the country I was fined 1600 B for not reporting to immigration/updating my TM-30 within 24 hours of reentry--I was 2 weeks late, had no idea about the requirement.

My questions are:

1) Does the fine go up by the day--is it 200 baht/day after the first 24 hours, as I seem to remember reading somewhere?

2) Can I report in Chiang Rai, even though my address is in Chiang Mai?

3) If I report in Chiang Rai, are their reporting hours the same as the CM Immigration TM-30 office (8:30-4:30, every day)? How are the lineups at the Chiang Rai office on a Sunday, if it's open on Sunday?
