I already have a legal stay & work permit in Laos.

I'm working in aviation field. Sometimes, need to travel to Bangkok to support our aircraft.

Thai Embassy asked for the below documents:

1- Travel itinerary to and from Thailand and accommodation e.g. plane/train/bus ticket, hotel booking.

2- letter from whom you will be staying with and a signed copy of his/her ID.

I'm looking for your support regarding item # 2.

This was from 2016 but shows they did make an exception on the METV issuing for foreigners who legally work/live in Lao

The thai consulate in Vientiane allows people who work/stay legally in Lao long term to apply for the 6 month METV

Proof of your long term visa and proof of 200K baht in a bank account are the terms
