TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Immigration Visa Category O-X remains valid for US residents as long as they meet the specific visa requirements. Many users recommend using the services of the Los Angeles Thai Consulate for application processes by mail, highlighting their friendly staff. Additionally, the O-X Visa allows retirees to keep their funds in the bank while still earning interest, unlike some other visa options.

You can use the Los Angeles Thai Consulate. By mail.

Very friendly staff.

Wise decision to obtain the O-X Visa.

The money in bank is YOURS TO KEEP...and earn interest too.

With the other visa...The Elite Visa .COST is you PAY 500,000 Thai baht for a 5.year visa....the money is gone.

And combo method of banked money and annual income is OK too ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't think there is a spousal provision for the O-A or O-X visas.

For the first part, yes, even if you live in Georgia. The Thai consulates don't care what state you live in

Also, do you have to leave the money in the account for 10 years?
