I need a bit of help in regards to my LTR visa application currently in progress, I've been asked to provide health insurance:
"Please provide international health insurance (travel insurance is unacceptable) policy covering entire course of stay in Thailand, with coverage for hospitalization treatment of no less than 50,000 USD and the remaining period of no less than 10 months."
1. What is meant by "entire course of stay"?
The LTR visa is for 10 years, is the implication one needs to prepay 10 years of health insurance?
2. Can anyone recommend a cost-effective travel insurance for this? I'm in Australia.
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant is seeking clarification on health insurance requirements for their LTR visa in Thailand, specifically what is meant by "entire course of stay" and if they need to prepay for 10 years of health insurance. There is a consensus among commenters that the requirement likely pertains to a minimum of one year of coverage, which may need to be renewed annually during the 10-year visa period. Recommendations for cost-effective insurance options are also requested.
LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
This might mean a 1 year policy that has to be renewed every year in order to maintain the validity of the visa for up to the 10 year term. Of course one has to keep in mind "TIT".
