Hi, I remember in the past people saying if you are going to stay 90 days or more is still better the TR visa than the STV. Is this still the case now that there is no quarantine?
Also, for the TR visa, the return ticket to show in the airport (if requested) can be within 90 days or needs to be 60? Asking because I am planning to extend

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question discusses the advantages of the Tourist Visa (TR) over the Special Tourist Visa (STV) for an extended stay in Thailand, especially in light of recent changes regarding quarantine. Community comments indicate that while quarantines are no longer a concern, the STV comes with stricter conditions such as mandatory accommodation and insurance, making it less flexible for some travelers.

The STV still has lots of conditions attached like fully paid up accommodation, insurance and the like. It works for some who have condos and such here but is tedious for others who want to travel freely from place to place.
nice! is there anywhere to see the exact requiremets? I am doing the online version and it requests stuff like proof of funds but it doesn't say what are they looking for
