TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa status of an individual holding a Non-B visa who has been laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic and is collecting SSO payments may vary based on specifics in their passport and any immigration stamps. If they are on a Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa and have been conducting border runs for their 90-day stay, they can remain until their visa expires. However, if they have an extension of stay stamp, this must be canceled upon termination of employment.

Your visa status is depending on your what is inside your passport.

If you use a Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa and do border runs to get 90 days of stay, you can stay until the last day, but

If you have the stamp from Immigration with in the second line of text Extension of Stay permitted up to, this stamp has to be cancelled on the day you stop working.
