I would like to apply for a DTV workcation via Ho Chi Minh City. Do I need to create a portfolio? I am self-employed in Germany and would like to include my business registration. Do I also need to provide income or regular income? Or customer references?

Als Selbständiger mit Gewerbeanmeldung ist es einfacher als Freelancer. Da reicht zumeist die Gewerbeanmeldung zusammen mit Kontoauszug ins Englishe übersetzt. Ab und zu wird noch der letzte Einkommensteuerbescheid verlangt. Ein Cover letter mit kurzer Übersicht, was Du genau machst reicht. Zumindest war es so in Berlin und München. ผู้มีส่วนร่วมที่ไม่ระบุตัวตน ja, du kannst t ganz einfach einen Arbeitsvertrag für deinen Freund erstellen mit ausdrücklicher Remote-Erlaubnis. Er ist dann ganz normaler Angestellter. HCMC oder Hanoi in Vietnam is das einfachste Konsulat, dauert nur 5 Werktage bis zum approval im Durchschnitt, wenn du paar wichtige Sachen beachtest. Falls du willst, dann schau ich mir deine Unterlagen an und gebe dir Tipps. Ich arbeite hauptberuflich in dem Bereich.

You have to include business registration. You need to show Income but there is no minimum income requirement, main financial is 500K THB balance. I included client references in the portfolio but it is an individual choice to submit them.
