TLDR : Answer Summary
A Swiss passport holder seeking a 60-day family extension while staying in Bangkok on a tourist visa will likely face challenges, as the 60-day family extension is only available for visiting Thai family members, not for foreign family. Extensions may be available if staying on a visa extension and if married to a foreign spouse, but otherwise, options include obtaining a letter from the consulate for an additional 30-day stay due to COVID-19.

IF you are on a visa extension <- NOT a visa where you bounce out and back but an extension from the immigration office, your foreign spouse and foreign child could get matching extensions. IF you're not married there is nothing available other than going to their consulate and getting the "unable to travel due to covid-19" letter and requesting an extension for up to 30 days.

Thank you. No extension yet

Well that sorts everything out. There is NO 60 day family extension allowed. The 60 day extension is for visiting THAI family (your wife or half thai child).

There is no provision to get ANY extension to stay with foreign family members.

Sorry I didn't understand your post
