Good morning all,

Just want to recapitulate/summarize before applying for my extension of Stay based on retirement. Want to make sure I don’t forget anything. (Non IMM O Visa)

What I need to submit:

- Application form (TM7)

- Original + Copy of applicant’s passport + most recent visa/stamps

- Copy of departure card

- 2 ID photos (4x6cm)

- Account deposited certificate issued by Bank (Letter certifying the money -7 days old max.-)

- 1 year bank statement (issued day of application)

- Original and Copy of bankbook

Do I also need copy of Landlord ID or passport and copy of rental agreement + TM 30 ??

Do I need to make an appointment?

Thank you very much in advance

Regards,

Isabelle

TLDR : Answer Summary
Isabelle is preparing to apply for her extension of stay based on retirement under the Non-O Visa category. She outlines the necessary documents to submit, including the application form, passport copies, departure card, ID photos, and bank account documentation. She inquires whether she needs additional documents like the landlord's ID and rental agreement, and whether an appointment is needed. Various community members share insights, noting that requirements can vary based on the immigration office and clarifying the type of Non-O Visa being referenced.

The reason for the bank transaction history is to prove the balance of your account never dipped below the 400K.

What you may need additionally to your list,

- Bank account transaction history for 1 year, original : up to 7days old (doesn't have to be issued on the day which is difficult). you need to arrange at your bank in advance to get this

- passbook updated on the day of application, original and copy

- TM30 receipt, original and copy

- hand-drawn map on A4 paper, plain paper is fine but you need to use that paper vertically, original

What you better bring in case

- lease contract of the address on TM30

- the last 90days report receipt

What is this? Is this a Non-O visa OR a Non-OA visa (the requirements are slightly different). Also, are you using the 800K THB in season money method?

Expect the following documents required for your first one year extension of stay based on retirement from a single entry Non-O visa:

1. Your passport and a copy of:

a. The data “picture” page.

b. The most recent visa (if applicable).

c. The most recent entry stamp or extension of stay (if applicable).

d. The departure card (“TM 6”) that should be stapled in the passport.

2. The extension of stay application form (“TM 7”).

3. A copy of the submitted Notification of Residence of Foreigners form ("TM 30”).

4. A letter from the bank showing that 800K THB was deposited in a Thai bank account for two months.

5. An updated bankbook on the day when you apply for the extension of stay based on retirement.

6. A hand drawn map to your residence

7. 1x passport sized (4cm by 6cm) photos.

8. 1,900 THB processing fee.

>PS: also I heard you might need copy of vaccination certificate now ??

No proof of vaccine is required to enter the immigration office.

>Do I also need copy of Landlord ID or passport and copy of rental agreement + TM 30 ??

No, that is not required for a one year extension of stay based on retirement. The landlord ID and rental agreement may be required for a TM30 though.

Requirements depend on what immigration office you are going to use and what type of visa you started.

The best is to check with your local immigration office. If you want some advice here, you better provide those info..

The answer I’m sure hasn’t changed. Go to your local immigration office and get a list of the documents needed, as there’s over 70 different immigration offices here and some requirements differ from office to office.
