TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the TM7 form for a visa exemption extension in Thailand, you should indicate 'visa exempt' as your visa type and state 'TOURISM' as the reason for your extension. It is important to use a blue pen when completing the form, as using a black pen may result in rejection.

Also Do you need to glue on the photos or will they do it and will we need a photocopy of the TM7?
You can glue it but generally they’ll do that for you. Not aware of any office that requires a copy of the filled out TM7. Copy passport, copy entry stamp and possibly a filed TM30.
