I have a TM7 form question. Does my hotel need to provide me with anything for my visa extension or that form? I heard from friends that their hotel gave them something to print off but my hotel doesn’t know anything about it. (I am on a 60 day tourist visa and am going to request a 30 day extension in Chiang Mai). Thanks!

I’m not sure I understand your comment. I had a return ticket when I came to Thailand but it has expired. I haven’t heard that they ask for a return ticket for the extension.

I am going to Buy return ticket after 60 days... I'll do extension visa.but I have entry visa 30.....they can ask me why. ...I think need buy return 30 days... not 60.and skip return.... after buy new return.

The hotel might know it as the section 38 registration, as they invariably do the registration online and not using the paper form. Unfortunately s.38 does not have a print function so they will need to take a screenshot of your registration and print this. It is perfectly acceptable by immigration. If you are registered on the system, it's very likely you won't need to show this form, but like any dealings with immigration you're better to go over-prepared than under

Ahh the TM7 form silly me is the actual form that you complete at Immigration office. The hotel will not have the TM7 form

You need a printout or copy of the TM 30 the hotel register with Immigration.

You need the departure TM6 card as well so don't loose it. What's the TM7 you talk about ?
