Hey guys, I had a question regarding DTV visa, as it's brand new i'm sure the answers are gonna be speculative but dammit it we need to discuss this.

So it seems the 2 main requirements are evidence of remote work and 500,000 G's in the bank account. Let's say everything's good and you get accepted.

My concern and question is, when you go to re-new it every 180 days, do you think they're gonna ask to see evidence that you've still got 500,000 G's or more in the bank account?

Or will it just be a quick stamp and you're on your way.

What are the fees for an agency to apply for 30 day extension please? 

What is the fee for applying for 60 day unable to travel due to COVID extension?

Update after my failed attempt at an embassy letter extension at Phuket immigration last week:

Went in today and received an under consideration stamp and was told to return on September 29th

Documents needed (2 copies of each)

1. Passport info page

2. Departure card (I also had my original stamp from immigration on that copy too, not sure that it’s necessary)

3. Tm.7 form

4. Printed copy of embassy letter AND a print out of the email from the embassy the letter was attached with.

5. Was asked to fill out one more form (tm2) while they checked my other documents, which stated my reason for an extension request.

6. 2 passport photos.

Paid my 1900 baht and got my passport back a short time later.
