Greetings! Would love someone else’s guidance on this! I completely messed up thinking my visa expiration date was first week of August, so was planning to go this Monday to extend. Went to check my passport and my visa actually expires the 30th!
Something told me to check immigration office and it looks like tomorrow may be a holiday so I’m not confident they’ll be open.. which means I wouldn’t be able to go until the 30th, which is my last day.
So my question is, if I go ON the 30th does that mean Iwould then be considered an overstay on my visa??
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user mistakenly believed their visa expired in early August but found it actually expires on the 30th. They are concerned about going to the immigration office on the expiration date and whether it would classify them as an overstay. Commenters clarified that as long as they seek an extension before midnight on the 30th, they will not be considered in overstay.
