Hey just after some advice on what to do. My covid extension expires on Saturday the 12th of March, and my flight is out at 8am on Sunday the 13th of March, which is 8hrs after the expiration. If I go to immigration what will I need to do? Or should I just front up at the airport and pay the 500bht overstay? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice regarding their visa expiration, which is one day before their flight. Community members suggest that typically for a one-day overstay, there is no fine, and they may receive a stamp indicating that the fine is waived. It is also noted that since the immigration office is closed on weekends, they won't be considered as overstaying. Users recommend either going to the airport and paying the minor overstay fee or directly informing immigration staff at the airport for potential assistance.

Just pay at airport it happened to me once ..I told them paid the fine I asked if this would give me a black mark they said no it's no problem but if the police catch you different story ..so untill you go airport keep it simple ..

As the office is closed at the weekend, you won't be considered to be on overstay.

Done the 1 day thing a few times just to jump the queue (pre covid days) and never been fined.

Tell someone you are overstay and you dont have to bother queing not that there are long Qs nowadays and they will take you to little table just behind the counters

I tried to pay 1900b for 1 day overstay at Jomtien immigration but Officer told me just to go to airport.

Small stamp in passport which never affected future trips and no 500b fine as within 24 hours of visa date

For one day overstay they generally don’t fine you, but you’ll get a stamp in your passport saying something like “overstay fine waived”.
