When doing your second 12 month visa extension based on marriage, does anyone know if the immigration officers want to come to your home again, personally I can not see why they would.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a second 12-month visa extension based on marriage in Thailand, whether immigration officers will visit your home is uncertain and varies by location. Some offices conduct visits every year, while others may never visit or do so randomly every few years. Experiences differ widely among expats, with some reporting visits after the first year and others never being visited despite long-term residence.

They only check if you are married with the same person.

I’ve been registered at the same address for 18 years and they’ve never even been once. 555

It is just done randomly after the first year. We haven’t had a visit for many years, but immigration turned up unannounced during my last under consideration period. You can never know if they will turn up or not.

Yours is not to reason why. Their place their rules. They don't care what your personal thoughts on a visit from them.

My experience in Chiang Mai? They will show up! Ask a few questions. What’s your favorite Thai food… ? Easy.

It's random and based on your immigration office as well. Some offices visit every year. Some never visit. Some visit every few years. The only way you'll know is if they call you to setup a time to visit.
