Thank you everyone for your advice. Looks like I'll do the self report. Luckily I'm in Bangkok.

One last question. Does anyone have a link to where I can print these pages

It's best to have it with you IN CASE you're asked. It seems to be hit and miss whichever officer you get.

thank you. Hopefully they won't ask. I'm having a nightmare getting hold off a receipt for this. I'm staying at my girlfriends condo and although I've been assured that a tm30 has been filed nobody seems to be able to give me any evidence of this

Or you can try to do self-report (especially if you are in Bangkok)

If you don't have TM30 when you are asked, you may not be able to get extension.

That advice only works for Bangkok. It's hit-or-miss elsewhere

they are not 'only' in Bangkok, some works at other offices. Not all method works at some immigration office. Or at some offices self-file may not work.

go a few days or week early just in case a problem...

gives you time to get TM30 filed...

or file yourself.

Prepare to pay penalty fine of 800-1600 Thai baht.

Adam Domanski. By law it should be stapled in your passport. If "nobody" is able to confirm, I'd say it's a definite no. You'll have to sort it out one day, best to do it now.
