Will changing my flight affect my pending DTV application status?
Update 2/Question: As of 5/18, still says "pending approval". We originally entered our flight information in the DTV application. Scheduled for 5/23. If we push our flights back a week, will she run into issues with the application process or using our DTV if she gets it since the flight information wont match?
Also, is there any value in messaging the Chicago embassy Facebook?
At this point, I think I will have to plan on going to Vietnam or Laos to get mine while we are in Asia.
Update: Her resume was requested and we sent it in 5/1. Now shows "pending approval" as of 5/5. Trip is 2 weeks away and I still need to submit my DTV. Should the spouse DTV application review be a faster process?

it's not wise to leave the USA 🇺🇲 without having the decision from the Thai Consulate.Your DTV visa is a 5 year multiple entry tourist visa. Stay in the USA 🇺🇸 untill you have the decision.

Approval is ALWAYS in time, as you could read, the day of issue is the first day of this 5 year valid visa.

Use LA... they are blazing fast if your documents are in order. 28 hours from submit to visa in my email for a work-cation DTV.

i applied on a Saturday night at 11pm to Los Angeles. I was approved by noon on Monday.

digital nomad?? If so, have tax returns and any business filings ready. It felt like an automatic rubber stamp stamp when they saw 1099/tax return/articles of organization. I also wrote a letter explaining my business in America and as owner, granting myself remote work access

Im between Chicago and LA.. I chose the one with the best reputation and they approved me.
