What should I do if my Thai e-Visa application is still pending approval close to my travel date?

Same situation I’ve submitted my application on 27 January and my flight date is 19th of February I’m cooked here too

Many applicants have experienced similar delays with Thai e-Visa applications. “In progress – pending approval” can sometimes remain unchanged until very close to the travel date, especially during busy periods.

A few things you can do:

Check your email (including spam/junk) regularly in case the Embassy requests additional documents.

Use the official Thai e-Visa portal’s contact option to send a follow-up inquiry, mentioning your application number and travel date.

You can also try contacting the Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja directly by email or phone—some applicants have received updates after a polite follow-up.

If your documents are complete, approvals are often issued shortly before departure, so try not to panic yet. Hopefully, you’ll receive an update soon. Good luck, and safe travels.

There is a lot of extra time needed for some of these foreign missions in Africa. The Thai Embassy website in Nigeria should probably tell you the processing time.
