Krungsri can print all transactions from the past 12 months. It shows international transactions. And they can print another letter showing the balance.
Krungsri apparently like Bangkok Bank stopped providing this letter. You must request a Credit Advice statement for each transaction action. If the teller does not understand speak to the manager. There will be a small fee, and this satisfies Immigration requirements.
Yes had the exact same problem so popped into Kasikorn they understood exactly so started sending my transfers from Wise to Kasikorn called them for a "credit advice" within a couple of minutes I had the all important emails with pdf's so was quite relieved I must stress I'm only starting the process of reverting from the 800k method to monthly method and my renewal won't be until November 27 doing the 65k method so I've had time to get it in place with the correct documents
Just print off your WISE statement and transfer and just to be safe, your foreign bank statement showing the money going to Wise. Immigration here accepts that.
Did you choose the 'funds for long-term living in Thailand' option as the reason for the transfer? Otherwise, the transfer will show as domestic, not international.
Traditional International SWIFT Wire: If you want to use the monthly income method (65,000 THB/month), most expats bypass services like Wise for these specific transfers and instead send money via a traditional international SWIFT wire directly from an overseas bank account to their Thai bank account. This leaves the clear international transaction trail that Thai banks can verify and document for immigration.
Bangkok Bank: Historically, Bangkok Bank has been noted by some expats as having a clearer path to request a manual "Confirmation Letter of International Fund Transfer" for certain partner channels if the original paperwork matches, but policy enforcement varies heavily by branch and officer.
If you are relying on the 65k monthly method, utilizing standard international wire transfers instead of third-party local remittance services prevents rejection at the immigration counter.
I go to the Krungthai branch where I opened my account once a year for a statement showing my balance. No recent transfers to show, just the standing balance. Have not had an issue on 2 annual renewals of my stay…and I use an agent to deal with the Immigration Officer…
I had this problem caused me major issues , used an agent in the end . The reason they can’t do it because it goes to kasikorn (I think that’s the one corner market village ) first they have to issue it from there .
You need to visit Kasikorn Bank overseas department (if you are in Pattaya you need to visit branch office in Laem Chabang) with all WISE statements. Also you need to get letter (to confirm that you are customer of the bank and any amount) and 12 months statement from Krungsri. Do you have letter (affidavit) from your Embassy?
For krungsri to issue such a letter the transfers must show in your krungsri account as international transfers. If they don't you will need to get a certificate from whichever bank they entered Thailand via. There's a useful FAQ in Wise regarding Thai baht transfers
Rogelio Nunez so them the money goes to K-Bank first as international transfer and the will be transfered to Kringsri and is not international anymore?
RedKiwi7212 They don't care about anything but Thai bank information. Wise actually has a report of the money's complete trip. Matching the Thai banks number. Yet they could care less. Every city is different. But as of three months ago K bank doesn't show the foreign orgin. They said Thai government did this. The credit advice is supposed to show, but it doesn't.
Something not adding up here, I get a 12 month statement along with letter etc all stamped and signed. Have done for last 5 consecutive years with zero issues. Your Wise statements (one for each month) has to mirror KBanks statement. Make it easier for immigration by highlighting monthly transfer on Wise and KBank statements.
