What should I do if my DTV application is pending approval and I have upcoming travel plans?

I have very strange situation, my DTV is pending since 22nd April, 2025 and now on 8th July, 2025 it is showing pending approval. I sent three reminders with additional documents (which inlcude UK visit visa) but i have not received any reply. I read some posts which shows that after pending approval mostly applications get approve. I have applied from Embassy of Islamabad. My catagory might be change because i am self employed and provide legal consultations online to my clients.

I am travelling to UK, Serbia and Turkey in July. What should i do? Shall i go for vacation?

Shall i consider DTV approved or it can be rejected too. I have strong social media presence as well as requisite amount required for DTV lying in bank since last 2 to 3 years.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a pending DTV application since April 22, 2025, which has not yet been approved by July 8, 2025. They are concerned about their upcoming travels to the UK, Serbia, and Turkey and are unsure whether to consider their application approved or risk rejection. Comments from other users suggest contacting the embassy directly, using social media for inquiries, and emphasizing that visa approvals may take longer than expected due to travel schedules.

Call the embassy on phone.

Try messaging them on the Thai Embassy Islamabad FB page rather than email - that worked for me with another embassy.

You cannot leave where you applied until it’s approved on that I’ve never heard of an approval take more than 3 weeks you need to contact somebody

If your planned arrival is not close yet, they dont have a reason to process it yet... somehow they dont seem to understand people may want to (or even, need to) travel to other countries before coming to Thailand...

they are not replying and not picking up calls. I tried it so many times. Now from document check, it shows pending approval. I am confused shall i go out of my country for a short trip or shall i stay for the result of my visa? I have already booked tickets.

Anonymous participant Have you contacted them via FB, line,? Pending approval is a sign of progress but not 100 % guarantee of approval. They can ask for an interview if you not attend then your DTV can be cancelled. Have you visited in person the embassy?
