Is it normal for a Thailand DTV visa application to remain in ‘Processing Pending Document Check’ status after 10 working days?

Hello everyone 😊

I have applied for DTV on 11.10. in Berlin embassy via eVisa. So 10 working days are over, but the status is still „Processing Pending Document Check (1)“ and the last update is the 11.10. , the day i applied.

Is it normal, that my application is still on Document Check after 10 working days?

Are there experiences from other members of this group, that applied in Berlin?

I only found one other post from Berlin, where the whole process was completed in one week.

Thank you 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user applied for a DTV eVisa at the Thai embassy in Berlin and expressed concern about the application status remaining as 'Processing Pending Document Check' after 10 working days. Other commenters shared their experiences, indicating variability in processing times, with some applications taking longer due to holidays or additional document requests. The user later received a request for further documentation, highlighting the complexities involved in visa processing, especially for those needing to have company documents legalized.

I am also, but with registered LTD in UK. I wrote my own letter and attached my business registration and many other documents like Dienstleistungsverträge with costumers of me, invoices and business registration. So i hope only a letter will work for you 😊🙏🏻

, poor dear! So we are still holding our breath for you... Really hope everything will work out for you once you have all the legalized paperwork together. Thank you for sharing, I am collecting what I can at the moment, so your help is greatly appreciated. Fortunately, I don't need any company papers, so hoping it'll go smoothly once I have my flight

Hey 😊 On the 28.10. i got an answer from the embassy with a request of documents. Problem is i am in Berlin at the moment and they request company documents to be legalised in UK and by Thai embassy in London. So i had to order Documents from companies house to Berlin, have sent them now back to UK to get them legalised and then again i have to send them to UK Thai Embassy London, because Thailand doesnt accept Hague Apostille and Berlin Embassy accepts business documents only if they are legalised by the Embassy of the country in which the Company is registered 🥲

My application for DTV e-visa took slightly more than one month. Not in Germany, tho.

Yeah, read that too in this group. But the Berlin embassy says on their website, that it can be up to 15 work days, but others reported, that it was completed in one week.

That‘s why i was wondering why my application is still on documents check after 10 work days.

Was the same in my case, I applied in Munich. My application took 12 working days. It went from "pending document check" straight to "Approved"
