Has anyone applied for primary DTV in one country while their spouse is physically present in a different country? Are there any Thai Embassies that have accomadated this complication?

Yes thank-you. I was aware that I cannot apply from within Thailand. I have heard mixed advice around whether or not I can apply only for myself, then my spouse at a later date or that I must to apply for both of us at the same time, in the same place.
