I am the owner of an American LLC and my bank accounts are listed under the LLC. I can prove through my state's LLC records that I am the sole director of the LLC, would i have any issues that the money is not in a personal bank account?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about potential issues when applying for a Thai DTV visa using an LLC bank account rather than a personal account. Responses from the community indicate mixed experiences, with some users successfully applying under similar circumstances by providing LLC documentation and bank records. Key suggestions include including a cover letter detailing business operations and regular salary payments from the LLC to a personal account. Variability in acceptance may depend on the specific embassy or consulate.
I recently applied at Hanoi and i went with a similar situation that the one you are describing . Check my post it might help you in how i structure the business entity and how the money flows. All the best π
Do you pay yourself out of your LLC business account on a regular bi-weekly or monthly basis?
I would suspect if you present the following you should have no issues:
Your LLC documents from the state
A cover letter explaining your business and its success as well as your role in the business and how you will be conducting such business while in Thailand
Bank records from your LLC account
And then if you pay yourself from the account to your personal account you could show your bank records of those payments.
I plan to do the same and would be using initially only my business bank account records. In the event they ask for personal I would submit them but I have the funds in that account too.
yes i recommended myself as the owner and my company pays me a salary every month. They are looking into the financials looking for structure to justify the financial requirement
There have been a few examples where they were not accepted. Donβt recall anyone stating they were accepted, it also probably varies by embassy/consulate
