Returned yesterday from Cambodja at Poipet border crossing.
Imigration officer gave me 90 days and not 180 days , even after I told it was 180. Some still need to get used to DTV.
No problem for the rest. And i leave Thailand again in 30 days , so has no influence.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler returning from Cambodia at the Poipet border received a 90-day entry stamp instead of the expected 180-day stamp, despite mentioning it to the immigration officer. Comments from the community suggest that Poipet is notorious for such issues, with many advising to avoid this border due to the unpredictable behavior of immigration officers. Some suggest diplomatic approaches when dealing with immigration and recommend visiting local immigration offices for any necessary adjustments if a longer stay is desired.
