Does anyone with DTV left Thailand to cambodia and came back again by border (Poi Pet) these days?
I would like to know the process and the difficulties? Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users caution against using the Poipet border crossing for re-entering Thailand, particularly for individuals holding DTV visas. They share experiences highlighting potential difficulties at the Thai immigration side of Poipet, where entry may be denied randomly. In contrast, alternative crossings like Ban Pakkad are mentioned as trouble-free, with quick processing for entry and exit stamps. The consensus suggests avoiding Poipet for re-entry while noting it may still be suitable for departure.
Avoid that border for re-entry to Thailand. For departure, no issues at all.
The only possible exception is if you're driving a vehicle and YOU must be the driver, since passengers have to stamp in, in the dreaded arrivals hall in Aranyaprathet.
Poipet on the Cambodian side is no issue but the Thai side often does deny entry randomly. Only the vehicle entry point is relatively OK but to be absolutely safe, re-enter elsewhere, there are 6 other international border crossings.

Is poipet known difficult for DTV? We know its difficult for visaruns/novisa... but what about with dtv? Has there been any posts yet? Didnt find
On a DTV? Poipet is a bit dodgy, but one guy on here stated he was denied re-entry on the Thai side on a DTV despite being in Cambodia and Vietnam for 3 weeks.
Did not you read my message? I just applied for a DTV visa today and am waiting for approval tomorrow. Then I shall try at the border. I have heard that many non-immigrants visa have confronted this issue at Poipet, but I have never experienced it.
