Hi guys.. May I know. Which thai consulate doesn't require wp3? And did hongkong changes the rule or still remain the same and doesn't need wp3?? Kindly advise me.. Cos I need to plan to apply for non b immigrant visa for work.. Thanks in advance.

Most of the embassy’s will ask for a wp3 letter. Ask your employer to get it from the employment office.

To work inside Thailand you need a Work Permit, why do you apply for the Non Immigrant B visa if you do not have the intention to work inside Thailand?

If you are currently working in Thailand...

that is illegal. And if your employer has not yet provided you with the necessary papers, I wonder if you ever will get them. Do you really expect your employer to provide you with a work permit?

Sorry, i do not know how slow the copy machine of your employer works. You have to discuss with him for a faster solution to make copies and bring that to the Ministry of Labor.

Your employer applys for the Work Permit using the WP3 method. As soon as your employer hands in the application and all is correct, he will get a form which is needed to apply for the Non Immigrant B visa, it is just a form that the application is done. This is an example, after you got the Non Immigrant B visa you get back into Thailand, get 90 days of stay, visit the Minsitry of Labor and pick up your Work Permit.

I'm working inside thailand. But I have to go out to obtain non b visa for work permit. So I'm asking. Which consulate doesn't need wp3. Cos I do not wish to stay other country for so many days..
