TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a non-B visa from France and has been requested by the Thai embassy to provide a WP3 letter, which their employer seems unaware of. Community members advise that the employer must obtain this letter from the Ministry of Labour in Thailand to proceed with the work permit process and suggest contacting the Department of Labour for assistance.

As the work permit matter is not a really Thai visa question, this post is closed.

Your employer has to apply (and get) the WP3 at the Labor Dept. Then he can send you a proper scan so that you can upload it. This WP3 is valid only 30 days from issuance.

Surprised when I read: "my company has no clue about it"

Every serious Thai Company should have a clue about WP3

Have your employer talk with DOL if they don’t have a clue. you cannot do anything from outside Thailand.
