TLDR : Answer Summary
If you want to change your workplace while on a Non-B visa, you cannot simply transfer your visa. You must cancel your current visa extension, which requires paperwork from your current employer, and then apply for a new visa extension with documents from your new employer. It is often complicated and challenging, and many individuals choose to leave Thailand and reapply for a Non-B visa at a Thai consulate.

The extension is specific to the company you work for. SO you'd need to cancel that extension (with paperwork from the company you currently work for) and immediately apply for a new extension (with paperwork from the new company you will be working for).

It takes so much coordination between the two companies that other than a few times where it worked out (mostly with BOI and IEAT company employees) it's rarely done.

You should ask the company you're going to work for if they have ever had it done with employees of theirs.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but I can count on one hand with fingers left over the number of times I've seen it actually work out. Most people cancel their current extension, leave the country, either get a new Non-B from a thai consulate or come back on visa exempt or tourist visa and get the new Non-B inside the country after that. Ugandan is one of the nationalities who supposed to go back their country or country you have residency legally.

For slight chance you could check with Kota Bharu, Malaysia, because similar case for South African passport holders.
