Hi, so i am curruntly on a 60 day tourist visa which expires 23 of August. I would like to extend that visa for another 30 days but would like to know if it is possible as this would be my 2nd extension. I arrived in thailand in Mei and got a 30 day entry stamp and then extended that 30 day entry stamp for another 30 days (1st extension) then i went to Laos and got the 60 day tourist visa. So do you think i will be able to extend it again for the 2nd time.

On another note : If I can extend my visa i would like to start the process of getting an ed visa as i would like to stsrt studying in thailand. Will i have enough time for the process. Any advice on an ed visa process. I would also like to apply in singapore any advice there would be great aswell.

Sorry if i am not explaining it very good. Please ask question if you are still unclear.

Thanks for the help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user currently holds a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand, which expires on August 23, and they seek advice on whether they can extend it for a second time by 30 days. They previously entered Thailand with a 30-day entry stamp, extended it once, and then received the current 60-day visa after traveling to Laos. Several comments confirm that the extension is possible and suggest starting the process for an ED visa to study in Thailand, advising against applying in Singapore due to potential issues.

Legally you can extend every entry on either Tourist Visa or 30 days visa exempt bu anther 30 days, that should give plenty of time to sort you out. Re ED Visa application, in principle no problem as a first timer, however at the moment it appears there is a backlog, expect not less than 3 weeks processing time. I would avoid Singapore, but ask your school they should know best.

but okay, not Singapore and you like to skip Laos, what about: Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, any country in Europa, it all depends on how far you like to travel.

Tourist visa than extension, again tourist visa and extension and can i do again before i change to an ED visa? i guess another topic in a few months i got my visa refused. Why not get the visa for the purpose of you stay inside Thailand. Living or staying inside Thailand using Tourist visa, visa exempt entry and ED visa is not going to last very long at the moment.

While you normally apply online for the Singapore thai consulate here's the release saying it's offline

, just FYI, Singapore is NOT a good consulate for an ED visa especially if you're studying at a private language school. They have been known to approve people (because you submit your documentation online before hand) then when people show up for the appointment at the consulate they were denied.

I'd say for S/A that either thai consulate in lao would be a WAY better choice.

You are not extending anything "again".. You can extend a 30 day visa exemption once with 30 days, as you already did. Then you got a new turist visa, and yes, that can also be extended by 30 days at immigration. Each entry on turist visa/visa exempt lets you extend once for 30 days.

Yes you can extend it.

Singapore is online visa application. Upload all the required documents as listed, then if it's accepted, you go and turn in the paperwork and passport. I believe it is then next day collection.
