TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of transferring a tourist visa to a new passport in Thailand may vary, with some users reporting it as free in locations like Pattaya. It is generally noted that if you are on a valid visa, you can show both the old and new passports at exit without needing a transfer. However, if you are currently on an Extension of Stay, it may be possible to transfer it to the new passport. Overall, there appears to be no designated cost for such a transfer, but it is advisable to check specific requirements based on individual circumstances.

If you are still on the visa you must use both passports, if you already on the Extension of Stay it could be transferred to your new passport. As you know the visa is a sticker inside your passport and can not been taking out to put in new passport.
