Hello, wondering if anyone has experience with flying to Bangkok and then flying to another country the same day…….in this case maybe Bali. Would the 60 day visa exemption start from the day you arrive in Bangkok or when you return. Thank you 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day visa exemption for Thailand starts from the day you arrive in the country. However, the actual counting begins only if you go through immigration. If you exit and re-enter Thailand (for example, to go to Bali), you will receive another 60-day stamp upon re-entry.

It all depends on whether you go through immigration or not.

Both.

You would get a 60 day stamp both times you enter Thailand.
