What should I do if my Non O visa is still processing when I arrive in Thailand?

Started a Non O visa application 27/11/25 after getting various emails requesting further documents. I sent my final document 16/12/25. The web site still says processing application. I fly Christmas Day with no NON O visa. I’m will be in Thailand for 59 days. What can I do if I receive the visa while in Thailand. I was hoping to have it in place at my time of arrival as I need to open a bank account.

TIA of any help

MERRY CHRISTMAS

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about not receiving their Non O visa before their flight to Thailand on Christmas Day. They have submitted all required documents but the application status remains 'processing.' Community members suggest entering Thailand using a 60-day visa exemption and doing a border run to activate the Non O visa once approved. There are also mentions of receiving eVisa notifications and alternatives for those planning shorter stays.

That’s odd. When I made the post I wasn’t aware that I had received the visa. It was in my inbox the 23rd also @ 19:15, but never showed up on my notifications. So apologies to all for making a premature post

it seems you do not meet the requirements for the application to a 90-days Non-Imm-O visa. However if you never planned to extend your stay for one year but only planned to stay for 59 days, you don't need a visa. You can enter visa-exempt and will get stamped in for 60 days

Enjoy the New year in Thailand, then book a short trip somewhere nice out of the country, then use your E visa on your re entry to Thailand to activate it.

Yes, 60 days at the airport and then boarder run when it comes through, but, my non-o got sent to me at 20:50 last night, so there is still a chance it will come through for you.

You should be able to get 60 day visa exemption entering Thailand. If the visa is approved you will have to do a boarder run to activate it.
