I lived in Thailand from Jun 23 - Sep 24 on a Non-OA retirement visa. I plan to visit in Feb for a few weeks. Would I have any issues on entering with a visa exemption as a US citizen?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen planning to enter Thailand with a visa exemption after previously holding a Non-OA retirement visa should generally have no major issues. They may need to explain why the Non-OA visa lapsed, commonly stating they returned to the US and chose not to renew it. While it’s possible they could be asked for proof of onward travel during their stay, such inquiries are not very common.

Shouldn't have much of an issue getting in on a 60 day visa exempt entry stamp. They might ask you why you let the OA visa/extension lapse but just say you went back to the US and decided not to 'renew'.

You could be asked for onward travel in the 60 days you'd get stamped in for but that is unlikely
