Questions for the experts….. On my first Non-O 12 month retirement extension, single entry, valid until January 2025. I
need to go back to the US to handle some business for a couple months but will return to
thailand well before my extension runs out. Question 1, the photo is from my passport, is that a re-entry permit? Wasn’t sure if my single entry was considered when I got here or if this gives me one more entry? If it is a valid re-entry permit, do I need to do anything with it upon leaving, like get it validated at the airport or something? Secondly, do I continue to make 90 day reports while gone, or just resume when I get back?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks clarification on the holder's Non-O visa re-entry permit status while traveling to the US. Experts confirm that the document is a valid single re-entry permit usable until January 2025, with no additional steps required upon departure. They also indicate that the 90-day reporting requirement resets on leaving Thailand and resumes upon return. For frequent travelers, switching to a multiple re-entry permit is recommended for convenience.
