Hi group,

I want to ask a short question. I entered Thailand with a non-o based on family with multiple entry.

I need to leave the country by airport and return during the first 90 days for a short visit to germany.

Do I need a re-entry permit and when to do the first 90 day report (based on the latest entry with 90 days?

Thanks for information. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about needing a re-entry permit after entering Thailand with a non-O multi-entry visa based on family. They seek clarification on the 90-day reporting requirements when they plan to leave and return within the first 90 days. A respondent clarifies that a re-entry permit is not needed due to the nature of the multi-entry visa, and notes that each entry allows for a 90-day stay, making the 90-day report requirement not applicable.

As I was answering your question, you edited the questions and I lost my reply.

I will try to answer your question again.

IF you have a Non O multi-entry Visa issued by a Thai Embassy or Consulate outside of Thailand, its valid for MULTIPLE ENTRY into Thailand for one year of the date of the Non O multi-entry Visa issue.

EACH time you enter Thailand during the one year validity of the Non O multi-entry Visa as Married to Thai, you are STAMPED in for 90 days.

No RE-ENTRY PERMIT is required as the visa is a multi-entry Visa.

The requirement for a 90 day report is not applicable to you with this visa as you are ONLY allowed to stay in Thailand for 90 days each entry into Thailand.

@James *******
sorry for the correction of my post and thanks for the very quick answer! Visa was issued at the thai embassy in Berlin Germany. So I do not need a reentry permit during the one year visa validity is your answer if I understand correct.

Thank you!

and if you leave and re-enter Thailand just before your Visa expires you'll get a final 90 day entry stamp giving you a total of almost 15 months in Thailand from a 12 month Visa
