Hi! The immigration officer didn't mention anything to me when I extended my tourist visa, and I only now notice the note about re-entry permit and 90 days reporting? Could anyone share some light on what this means and if I need to do anything? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual inquired about re-entry permits and 90 days reporting after extending their tourist visa in Thailand. According to a response, since the individual extended their 60-day tourist visa for an additional 30 days, the 90 days reporting does not apply to them. However, a re-entry permit is necessary if they plan to leave Thailand and return before their visa expires.

Thanks for clarifying, really appreciate it! For a minute I thought I missed something really important. Thanks again. Closing comments now😊

as you extended a 60 day tourist entry for a further 30 days, the 90 day report will not concern you. as for the re-entry permit, you would need to buy one if you plan on leaving and coming back before the 8 august
