Hi
I have a 1 year Non-Imm O-A Multiple Entry (retirement visa) valid to March 2023. I have been in Thailand for about 60 days and would now like to leave for 3 weeks and then return.
Do I really need a rentry-permit? (if so what is the point of a multiple entry visa)
Thanks for the advice
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about whether they need a re-entry permit while traveling outside Thailand with a Non-Imm O-A Multiple Entry retirement visa. Community responses clarify that a re-entry permit is not necessary if the user returns before the visa's 'enter by' date, which is valid until March 2023. However, if the visa is expired or if the reentry occurs after this date, a re-entry permit would be required.
