Is it necessary for my employment contract to explicitly mention 'remote work' for a DTV visa application in Thailand?

Hello everyone, I am form Italy and doing the application for DTV online.

My company lets me work remotely, but it is not explicitely stated on the employment contract, they just let me do it.

Is it required that the contract explicitely refers to "Remote work"?

Anyone has direct experience of that?

Anyone from italy?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The questioner, an Italian, is inquiring whether their employment contract must explicitly mention 'remote work' for their DTV application in Thailand. Responses suggest contacting the Italian Embassy for clarification on contract wording requirements. Others shared their experiences, recommending obtaining a verification letter from the employer outlining the current job function and affirming the ability to work remotely, which can be useful for visa applications.

ciao....prova a farti fare una lettera dalla compagnia su carta intestata, che dica chiaramente che il tuo lavoro puo' essere svolto da remoto in tutto il mondo compresa la Thailandia, timbrato e firmato dall'azienda stessa.

Well my contract is 22 years old and totally irrelevant to my current function and working conditions so I asked my company for a verification letter that states my current job function, length of service and that I am a WFH/remote worker.

This is what I uploaded along with a recent wage slip. This was accepted. Embassy was the Hague, NL. But best to ask the embassy what they need exactly.

You should contact the Italian Embassy for the wording required. Some embassies require 'remote working overseas allowed' to be detailed in a contract or letter.
