I want to issue a DTV as remote employee (not a self employed).
I am trying to understand if the requirement is to show both Letter of employment ADN a work contract, or just one of them?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand as a remote employee, the specific documentation requirements may vary depending on the embassy. Generally, factors to consider include:
- Some applicants have successfully provided just a letter of employment confirming remote work, while others have submitted a work contract as well.
- It's often recommended to provide both a letter and a contract, as this may strengthen your application, but one document may suffice based on individual embassy requirements. Always check the specific requirements of your embassy.
I donβt have a template, but it was just a headed letter with the the embassy address in the corner stating that my position as a site project manager involves site visits and remote working, then signed by the company director
address to royal Thai Embassy stating that you are in employment with said company and supported to work remotely. . That was the extent of what I supplied to London Embassy also

I just uploaded a verification from my employer of my position, tenure and remote working status. That was sufficient for my embassy (NL) but other embassies could differ.
Anyway my employment contract is 22 years old and bears no relation to what I'm doing at the moment π
