Iโve just received a new passport, I still have my current visa in my old passport. Is there a timeframe or limit of when I need to switch the old into the new?
My current visa is up March 11 where I will be switching onto a spousal visa or new non b. Can I wait till then to do a switch?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you receive a new passport, it's important to handle your existing visa correctly. According to comments from the community, while you can't transfer a visa, you can keep both your old passport (with the visa) and your new passport. You should carry both until your existing visa expires, after which you can apply for a new visa or extension. This approach is generally acceptable, and immigration offices are seen as helpful in these matters.
Visas can't be transferred, only Extension of Stay stamps can. If it's visa vignette in your old passport, you just need to carry two until you get your new Extension. If it's an Extension stamp you can get it transferred at Immigration.
London Embassy told me ok, to travel with 2 passports. Visa in old one. Entry stamp in new one. Did my 90 day report, by showing immigration both. KT immigration will know. They are super friendly and helpful. Quick too. New visas are mostly E visas now.
