TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs to navigate the situation where their marriage visa is in an old passport that is still valid, but they have obtained a new passport due to the old one being full. While one comment suggests that you cannot transfer a visa, it highlights the need to visit immigration to have the visa or extension moved to the new passport. Another user confirms a similar experience, noting that the process is straightforward.

I did this about 4 years ago. Don’t worry it’s easy to do and I did not need the letter from Embassy as they never gave one. I did mine at Jontiem

You cannot transfer a visa, but you probably don't have a visa. You most likely have an extension. You should go to immigration and get your extension moved to your new passport.

can I do this at the airport? Fly out and come back in with a new passport from home country. Can the immigration there transfer my extension?

out of interest, Chiang Mai Immigration requires a copy of every page of the old passport. Source - I transferred stamps in March.
