Hi. Got my new Non-O multiple entry visa a couple of months ago, good for one year, from Ho Chi Minh but that passport is now full. Have applied for a new one and should have it next week. Do I need to get to Immigration and transfer the visa into my new passport or do I have to carry my old and new passports together when entering and exiting the Kingdom? Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have obtained a new passport and have a valid Non-O multiple entry visa in your old passport, you will need to carry both passports when entering and exiting Thailand. The Thai immigration office does not transfer visas to new passports, so you cannot move your visa. Instead, you'll use your old passport with the visa for immigration procedures, while your new passport will be used for stamping upon entry.
