TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer your Thai visa from an old UK passport to a new one, first, ensure you have your old passport, new passport, and a letter from your consulate confirming the passport change. Bring copies of both passports, the letter, all current Thai visa copies, and the TM6 form. Then, visit the local immigration office to complete the transfer, which should take around 15 minutes.

You should get a letter ( automatically ) when you receive the new passport , take this with you and give to the immigration. ( According on what I read )

When you get your new passport back, you take your old one, the new one and the letter your consulate gives you stating you got a new passport inside this country to the immigration office and they will move the relevant stamps from the old one to the new one.
