Hi, Everyone!
My question revolves around how to do my 90-day report whilst I'm not in the province where I normally reside.
I've been unable to complete an online 90-day report for a number of months. The report is due 7 days from now.
I normally live in Samut Sakhon, but have been in Phuket for a number of weeks already, and would like to stay here for a few months more, due to covid, but would still like to return to Samut Sakhon eventually.
I still pay rent back in Samut Sakhon, plus I now pay a monthly rental at a hotel in Phuket. I didn't sign a lease with the hotel, but did get a receipt saying that I paid to stay for a month.
When I went to Phuket Immigration yesterday with regard to my 90 day report, Immigration said that the only way I could do my 90-day report is if I get a number of documents from the hotel in order to register my address in Phuket. These documents include a copy of the owner's ID card, a copy of the registration for the house, a copy of the rental contract etc.
However, a friend told me that a simple TM30 should suffice, which apparently is an online form that the hotel would need to complete.
What would be the easiest way to solve this? I just want to have my 90-day report done the easiest way and without complications.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on how to complete their 90-day report while residing temporarily in Phuket, away from their normal residence in Samut Sakhon. They are facing difficulties with immigration requirements and are unsure if they need to provide numerous hotel documents or if a TM30 form, which the hotel should file, would suffice. Community members suggest obtaining a screenshot of the TM30 filing from the hotel to simplify the reporting process.
